Smithfield Plumbing & Heating Supply, Co, Inc,
a premier distributor of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning
supplies, located at 1 Austin Ave., Greenville, Rhode Island was
established in 1976 by Americo “Rico” Colaluca, a licensed Master
Plumber, Pipefitter and Gas Installer with his brother, Lawrence Colaluca.
In 1993, Rico’s son Aaron (President), a licensed
Master Plumber, Pipefitter, and Master Gas Installer joined Smithfield
Supply. Under Aaron’s guidance, in March 2003 Smithfield Supply branched
out and opened the first of three New Hampshire branches.
In 2005, Rico and Aaron decided to expand their
business with a showroom now located at 3 Austin Avenue,
Greenville, Rhode Island it serves Rhode Island, Eastern Connecticut and Massachusetts.
In 2016, seeing how much the business was changing
and the speed it was changing, Smithfield Supply created, built and
opened a hands-on interactive training room. This training room is to be
able to offer not just employees but their customers the best training
in order to make sure they are up to date with the latest the plumbing
heating and HVAC business has to offer.
As the company continues to evolve, one standard
never changes, the customer is the most important person to the company.
Smithfield Supply is an active
participant in the New
England Association of Plumbing & Mechanical
Inspectors. Rhode Island Builders Association,
Rhode Island Master
Plumbers Association, NAHB (National Association of Home Builders),
and the
Rhode Island Associate of Plumbing & Mechanical Inspectors Association. Our memberships in these associations are
testimony to the company’s desire to stay involved with organizations
that help keep Smithfield Supply on top of the plumbing, pipefitting,
heating, air conditioning, building and remodeling industry and the
general business world. |
